Community meeting on new location for Lawrenceville Farmers Market

We are looking forward to seeing you SOON for our new season on Tuesday May 17th from 3-7pm in a NEW location at Bay 41 for this 2022 season (we will be returning to Arsenal Park in 2023.)

As many of you may know, Arsenal Park will be under construction starting this year. We are excited for the updates that are coming but, unfortunately, we had to find a temporary new home for the LFM.

So this season, the LFM will take place at the Bay41 event space. We explored multiple options and ultimately chose Bay41 for a number of reasons: it’s not too far from Arsenal Park, more accessible parking for vendors and customers, built-in lighting and many of our community members previously expressed interest in a farmers market at the event space when it was being planned.

We are going to miss the greenery of the park and the environment it provided. There won’t be a playground this season but we will have a kid’s booth each week with a variety of fun activities. And we’ll be moving right next to the developing network of Greenways and the river’s edge. So whether walking or biking to the market, add on the Three Rivers Heritage Trail to your day. For all of those who incorporated a dog walk into their market shopping, we hope you’ll visit and check out Bernard Dog Run.

Want to learn more about the market and our new location? You’re invited to a special community meeting to share more information and answer your questions on May 3rd at 6pm. To participate by Zoom register at https://bit.ly/LFMatBay41. To find out how join by phone, or to discuss your accessibility needs, please contact Lawrenceville United at info@LUnited.org or 412-802-7220.
