Affordable Units at Albion Lawrenceville

27 units of affordable housing are available at the brand new Albion Lawrenceville in Upper Lawrenceville for income-qualifying households. These units are expected to be delivered in March/April 2026. Lawrenceville United is supporting Albion Residential and Greystar with marketing, outreach, and income screening for these units. Please see below for more information on these units, income qualifications, and application process.

Units

  • 6 studios at $940 per month
  • 13 one-bedrooms at $1,007 per month
  • 8 two-bedrooms at $1,208 per month
  • Price includes utilities
  • Building amenities include lobby with co-working nooks, fitness center, yoga studio, dog park, bike storage, and more

Eligibility

Income restrictions apply based on household size:

  • 1 person: < $37,600 annual
  • 2 people: < $42,950 annual
  • 3 people: < $48,300 annual
  • 4 people: < $53,650 annual

Vouchers are accepted. A credit & criminal background check will be conducted by the property manager after the initial application. To approve, the property manager requires a minimum household income 3x the amount of rent.

How to apply for an inclusionary unit

UPDATE: A lottery has already been run for all available units. However, not all applicants have been approved as of yet. We continue to accept applications for a waitlist in case any applicants are denied or fall through, or in the event of any future vacancies.

Only paper applications will be accepted for the affordable units. To apply, you can download and complete an application here, and submit along with a government-issued ID and proof of income. If you have a Housing Choice Voucher, please also include a copy of that. Complete applications can be sent to apply@LUnited.org or mailed to Lawrenceville United at 118 52nd Street, Suite 2026, Pittsburgh, PA 15201. Only complete applications that meet income eligibility will be added to the waitlist.
