Recap of Lawrenceville Happenings: Crime in Review 2025
Lawrenceville United and Lawrenceville Corporation held the annual Crime in Review meeting for the March Lawrenceville Happenings on March 5, 2026, at 6:30 PM at Goodwill (118 52nd St). The Crime in Review meeting reviews the previous year’s crime trends and is an opportunity for neighbors to discuss any public safety concerns with Zone 2, LU, and LC.
The presentation started with remarks and a question-and-answer period with Police Chief Lando — which included questions about the NFL draft and potential for ICE activity in Lawrenceville. Then Dr. Heath Johnson reviewed his findings from 2025’s crime statistics, which did not show significant changes from the year prior. The meeting closed with Zone 2 Commander Novosel sharing the work Zone 2 has done in partnership with LU/LC over the past year and answering any outstanding neighbor questions.
