Lawrenceville United & our partners in cleaning up Lawrenceville!
On the 3rd Saturday of every month from April through October, residents and community stakeholders come together to clean-up, beautify, and plant Lawrenceville.
Clean-ups crews work from 9a to 12p on Saturday, with breakfast and a light lunch provided. In addition, gloves, trash bags, and other necessary tools will be provided.

Lawrencevilel Fireworks Committee gets underway with the next 4th of July even t On July 2nd, Arsenal Park will once again be the site of face painting, rocking music, ball games, food, and of course Fireworks.
In its 67th year, the Independence Day Celebration brings over 4,000 residents and visitors of Lawrenceville to enjoy all day festivities.
The day starts at 12p and concludes with a Fireworks show by Zambelli at 9:30p.

The Lawrenceville community has submitted all necessary documents to request a hearing infront of the Pittsburgh Liquor Control Board (PLCB). We are still waiting to for a set hearing date.
Residents within 500 ft.will be allowed to attend this hearing. As soon as details for the PLCB hearing are available we will post them here and send them out via email.

On January 27, 2011 community groups, residents, business owners, and the owners of the proposed new bar/lounge at 4305 Butler Street met to discuss their proposed plans for the site.
Nearly two hundred (200) residents and stakeholders attended the meeting, confirming that this is an important issue to the entire Lawrenceville community. The majority of those in attendance, sixty-one percent (61% ) of the audience, were residents of Central Lawrenceville (9th Ward). Twenty-seven percent (27%) residents and stakeholders in Upper Lawrenceville (10th Ward), nine percent (9%) of the audience were from Lower Lawrenceville (6th Ward), and three percent (3%) were from outside Lawrenceville...CLICK HERE to read the full summary and find out next step options.
